Archaeologist Zecharia Leight uncovers a mysterious metallic cylinder in a Sumerian dig site, revealing hidden holographic glyphs and four ancient crystals. By submerging these artifacts in seawater and exposing them to sunlight, he and scientist Lorna Copely inadvertently grow four elemental superbeings known as the Xenobrood. After defending their creators from a sudden ninja strike and banishing the attackers to deep space, the self-aware beings pledge their absolute loyalty to Leight. However, the team’s debut is monitored by the three-eyed Lord Vimana, a ancient creator who intends to reclaim his biological drones for his own sinister purposes.
