In a corporate-controlled wasteland, a drifter named Timothy Fitzgerald discovers a hidden mutant sanctuary led by the idealistic yet dangerous Xi'an Chi Xan. As Xi'an attempts to unite these outcasts against the oppressive Synge gambling empire, his past as a lawless outlaw catches up with him through the betrayal of the techno-organic Junkpile. The team’s mission for mutant survival is nearly cut short when a sniper’s bullet strikes their leader, leaving the fledgling X-Men to defend their new home from powerful enemies. Amidst the neon grit of futuristic Las Vegas, these ragtag freedom fighters must now decide if they are willing to fight for a dream that could get them killed.
