On the exploding remains of the Graymalkin base, X-Force finds themselves in a brutal showdown against War Machine and a S.H.I.E.L.D. salvage team led by Nick Fury. As the self-destruct sequence counts down, Cannonball and Sunspot desperately race to the command center to jettison portions of the ship and preserve what remains of Cable's technology. While the team fights to escape the collapsing station, a mysterious figure looms over their base in Camp Verde, easily defeating the remaining members and questioning their true strength. Meanwhile, Deadpool begins a lethal hunt for Tolliver's former operatives, tracking a shape-shifting Vanessa to Massachusetts.
