In the chaotic wake of an assassination attempt on Professor Xavier, the government-sanctioned X-Factor team finds themselves on a collision course with the outlaw group X-Force. The tension escalates as Havok makes a tactical strike to track the retreating rebels, unaware that a disguised Mr. Sinister has already secured Cyclops and Jean Grey for his own dark purposes.
