Wolverine and Gambit finally realize they have been trapped in a web of elaborate illusions, leading to a tense confrontation with Arcade and his mechanical androids. The truth behind the London murders is exposed when Martinique Jason uses her mental powers to reveal that Arcade, not Wolverine, was responsible for the death of his assistant, Miss Locke.
