Trapped in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse through the rain-slicked streets of London, Wolverine and Gambit find an unlikely ally in Martinique Jason, an enigmatic woman claiming to be an Interpol agent. After a desperate car chase ends with a plunge into a river, the mutants are horrified to discover Martinique's lifeless body, with all evidence pointing toward a confused Logan as the killer. However, reality begins to fracture when the corpse vanishes and the mutants are plunged into the city's dark sewers, unaware that they are mere pawns in a twisted collaboration between the murderous Arcade and the illusion-casting daughter of Mastermind.
