A mysterious figure grants Hydro Man enhanced intelligence, transforming him into a criminal mastermind capable of pulling off audacious heists. When Hawkeye, Wasp, and Wonder Man intervene, they are seemingly killed in a massive explosion set by the villain. However, the true puppeteer, Loki, reveals himself, and in a twisted game, he forces the remaining heroes to choose between freeing him or risking a massive bomb explosion.
