Meanwhile, the wall-crawler's path crosses again with the elderly thief known as the Black Fox, who is attempting to steal the precious Eye of Carnelia jewel from an embassy. Believing the Fox has committed a far more serious crime after discovering a dead body at a fence's apartment, Spider-Man vows to bring the veteran criminal to justice once and for all. The web-slinger must navigate international incidents and personal turmoil as he tracks his elusive quarry through the shadows of the city.
