A sinister post-hypnotic suggestion from the Jackal threatens to turn Peter Parker against his beloved Mary Jane. As Spider-Man struggles against this dark influence, the New Warriors intervene, caught in a desperate attempt to protect Mary Jane without fully engaging the controlled wall-crawler. They quickly discover that holding back is not an option as Spider-Man, driven by the Jackal's twisted command, unleashes his full, unbridled power against his own wife. The harrowing struggle intensifies, pushing all heroes to their limits as they fight to break the deadly hypnotic hold.
