On the living, sentient world known as the Org of Plasm, the ambitious Supreme Acquisitor Lorca leads a brutal campaign to consume the biomass of other worlds to feed his planetary home. Seeking to overthrow the Org's hedonistic rulers, Lorca initiates a forbidden genetic experiment by abducting ten thousand humans from Earth to create a powerful rebel army. Disaster strikes the project, leaving only five survivors—Cookie, Rick, Louise, Martin, and Elvis—who are mutated into superpowered beings and sent back to Earth to prepare for an inevitable alien invasion. As Lorca struggles to hide his treachery from his rivals, these transformed individuals must grapple with their new abilities and the daunting task of defending their world.
