An alien world, known as the Org of Plasm, sustains itself by conquering other planets, with Earth soon falling into its sights. However, Lorca, the Supreme Acquisitor, secretly plots to overthrow Plasm's rulers, genetically modifying five humans to aid his rebellion. When his coup fails, these super-powered individuals are sent back to Earth, unaware that they are now humanity's last hope. They must prepare to defend their home from the impending alien invasion from the Org of Plasm.
