In this thrilling conclusion, the uneasy alliance between Venom and Spider-Man is pushed to its limit as they launch a final assault against Roland Treece to save the inhabitants of the underground city. Venom proves his new path as an anti-hero by risking his own life to dive through a wall of fire, ultimately stopping Treece’s explosive plot. Though the two spider-powered foes successfully dismantle the lethal Diggers, their fragile partnership unravels immediately after the battle as Venom slips away into the fog.
