After making a pact with Spider-Man to cease his criminal activities, Eddie Brock heads to San Francisco to begin a new life as a vigilante. While protecting innocent homeless people from a massive robotic digger, Venom discovers a secret subterranean city hidden beneath the streets. However, his mission of mercy is interrupted when he is targeted by a group of high-tech mercenaries led by Orwell Taylor, who is seeking bloody revenge for the death of his son. Seeking to settle the score, these armored foes force the lethal protector into a desperate struggle for survival in his new home.
