Escaping the clutches of their captors, the heroic mutants attempt a high-stakes ruse by pretending to align themselves with the treacherous Count Nefaria. However, their plan for a strategic betrayal collapses when Nefaria's own lieutenants launch their own coup, plunging the team into a web of conflicting agendas. Now caught in the crossfire of multiple warring factions, Beast, Cyclops, and Iceman must fight through the chaos to turn the tide of battle. With enemies closing in from all directions, the young heroes are forced to push their abilities to the limit to survive this deadly game of deception.
