A personal nightmare resurfaces for Eric Masterson when the villainous Mongoose reappears, causing him to freeze in fear as Bison and Quicksand clash with DePaul and Luke Cage in a chaotic underground battle. Meanwhile, young Kevin Masterson is tempted by a mysterious figure offering his heart's desire through a signed contract. As S.H.I.E.L.D. floods the combat zone, Eric, inspired by Thor, overcomes his fears to deliver a blinding blast to Mongoose, while Bison dramatically dispatches Quicksand to save Shamari. With the tunnels filling, Thunderstrike must quickly extract the heroes to safety after Mongoose opts for a watery escape over prison.
