Jimmy Olsen finds himself in a deadly game of espionage after discovering an imposter in his home, leading him to the door of the sinister alien organization known as S.C.A.R. Under the thumb of the ruthless Mr. Nero, Jimmy is forced to serve as an assassin or face a lethal internal device, all while his friends are replaced by doubles to facilitate a hit on Superman and Supergirl. Meanwhile, a freak teleportation mishap sends the young reporter to the world of Roban, where he must use an experimental enlarging ray to save an alien race from fiery predators. Whether he is acting as the undercover Agent Double Five or navigating a journey through the Earth's crust, Jimmy must use his wits to expose the high-tech conspiracy and return safely to Metropolis.
