As Dr. Ashley Kafka releases the Chameleon from his cell with the noblest of intentions, the cunning villain swiftly turns the tables, escaping Ravencroft Institute. Meanwhile, Peter Parker suggests a walk to a moody Flash, only for Liz's new boyfriend, "Foggy" Nelson, to arrive and join them. Spider-Man later catches up with a still-downcast Flash, hoping to lift his spirits with a heroic encounter. This issue also sees the emergence of a new Jack O'Lantern.
