Deep in the shadows of the city's alleyways, Spawn encounters a tragic figure known as the Freak, who claims his life was dismantled by the sadistic experiments of a mad scientist named Dr. Delirium. Moved by a sense of kinship for a fellow outcast, Al Simmons agrees to help the man exact his bloody revenge, leading to a violent confrontation in the doctor's fortified lair. However, as the duo leaves a trail of chaos in their wake, the line between victim and predator blurs, forcing Spawn to question if he has truly aided a man seeking justice or simply become an unwitting pawn in a madman's delusion.
