Continuing his long trek back to New York City, Al Simmons finds himself deep in the heart of the South, where he intervenes to protect an African American family from the terror of the local Ku Klux Klan. When a corrupt judge dismisses the family's plea for justice, the hellspawn takes matters into his own hands, utilizing his necroplasmic powers to deliver a poetic and brutal brand of vengeance. By transforming the Klan's own leader into the very thing he hates most, Spawn forces the bigots to face the horrific consequences of their own senseless violence. Meanwhile, in New York, detectives Sam and Twitch showcase their own skills as they track down a fleeing criminal, proving that justice takes many forms.
