Al Simmons watches from the darkness, only to be devastated by the revelation that his widow, Wanda, has moved on and started a family with his former best friend. His emotional turmoil takes a violent turn when the sinister Clown resurfaces, demanding that the hellish warrior fulfill his dark purpose. In a gruesome confrontation, the antagonist sheds his human guise to reveal the monstrous Violator, who literally tears the heart from Spawn’s chest.
