While Al Simmons continues to master his newfound magical abilities under the guidance of Harry Houdini, he is drawn into a high-stakes conspiracy at a nuclear weapons conference. When a radical group threatens the city with an atomic bomb, Houdini realizes he has been double-crossed and is intended to be sacrificed alongside Spawn in the explosion. In a desperate final act of heroism, the legendary escape artist uses his mastery of the mystic arts to channel the blast into another reality. Amidst the chaos, Spawn manages to rescue his friend Terry Fitzgerald from a brutal assault, further intertwining their complicated fates.
