Al Simmons finds himself an unlikely student when he encounters the legendary Harry Houdini, who reveals himself as a mystical agent of the Overlap. As Houdini begins to school the hellspawn on the true nature of magic and the untapped potential of his symbiotic K7-Leetha suit, a more grounded catastrophe looms in the form of a stolen Soviet atomic device. While Spawn struggles to master his newfound abilities, the threat of nuclear detonation forces him and his new mentor into a high-stakes race to prevent a global disaster.
