Dwight McCarthy discovers his friend Fargo hanging in a grim apartment, only to find a mysterious woman hiding in the shower as bullets from a sniper's rifle shatter the silence. The duo narrowly escapes the lethal duo of Shlubb and Klump, leading Dwight on a vengeful pursuit to a remote farm where he must unravel a conspiracy of illegal drug activities and scapegoats. As he confronts his pursuers, he learns the "babe" in red is far more than she seems, hiding a sacred secret behind her deceptive identity. This gritty anthology further explores the brutal nature of Basin City through additional tales of love gone wrong and the hard lessons of the Old Town working girls.
