Dwight McCarthy, a man struggling to keep his inner demons at bay through a life of strict sobriety and private investigation, finds his resolve shattered by a single phone call. His former lover, the mesmerizing Ava Lord, resurfaces after four years to beg for his help, claiming she is trapped in a web of fear and abuse. Despite the bitterness of their past, Dwight is drawn back into her orbit, saving a woman from a violent encounter before sneaking into a wealthy estate to catch a glimpse of the woman he can't forget. This encounter plunges Dwight back into the shadows of Sin City, setting the stage for a deadly game of manipulation and obsession.
