The Silver Surfer and Jack of Hearts venture into the Anvil to seek the mechanical expertise of Torval, though a hot-headed confrontation nearly ends their mission before it begins. While the Surfer successfully de-escalates the tension and secures Torval's aid, a much darker threat emerges elsewhere as the criminal Nebula is taken into custody, only to orchestrate a bloody escape with her loyalist Geatar.
