The Silver Surfer and Mantis uncover a catastrophic plot by the Elders to destroy the universe by eliminating Galactus, a scheme that would allow them to survive into the next reality. As the heroes race toward Earth to intercept the Elders, the Kree-Skrull war escalates, plagued by Skrull agents deep within Kree leadership. When the Supreme Intelligence promotes a hidden Skrull traitor, Nenora, the Kree set their sights on Zenn-La, forcing Shalla-Bal to desperately recall the Silver Surfer for protection.
