After escaping Soul World with Drax the Destroyer, the Silver Surfer races toward Earth to warn its heroes of the impending threat posed by Thanos and the Infinity Gems. His journey is unexpectedly delayed when he senses peril and finds a destroyed Kree outpost, where he is immediately attacked by one of Thanos' ferocious monsters. The creature's immense power proves immune to the Power Cosmic, and it nearly decapitates Norrin Radd before its allotted day of power runs out, causing it to shrink into a harmless, furry beast. With Mephisto and Thanos materializing nearby, the Surfer speeds away, knowing time is running out.

Vintage comics may have varying degrees of age-related wear, and some may have notable defects such as tears, stains, or missing pieces. Learn more about comic book grades here.
