Amidst a political struggle for Skrull honor, Super-Skrull Kl'rt, encouraged by the Silver Surfer, throws caution aside and challenges Reptyl in a desperate battle fueled by his burgeoning affection for S'Byll. Despite his immense power, Kl'rt is ultimately defeated when Reptyl gruesomely rips out his throat. The noble Silver Surfer performs the last rites for the fallen Skrull warrior, dropping his body into the planet's atmosphere for a final, fiery send-off.
