Joshua Brand reveals the true extent of his newly acquired animal and Earth powers during a clash with horse thieves. However, his abilities are immediately put to the test when Animus, a savage animal/human hybrid, escapes captivity and embarks on a destructive rampage. Brand, now the protector of the Earth, must stop Animus and other forces who threaten to harm the planet.
