A young man named Moondance, obsessed with rock star Stephen Tyler, attempts to gain an audience with the band, only to be caught rifling through Tyler's belongings. The encounter turns violent when Tyler, unexpectedly infused with mystical energy, strikes Moondance. This strange transfer of power sends the Aerosmith lead singer racing into the night, while Master Darque seizes the opportunity to telepathically contact Shadowman.
