While the rest of the Howling Commandos are sent back to school to sharpen their special skills, Izzy Cohen remains a prisoner in a hellish camp in Burma. Desperate to escape the terrible conditions and hard labor, Izzy attempts a daring break for freedom, overpowering his guards just moments before his scheduled execution. He collapses in the jungle but is saved by a local native who helps him evade capture, even as a brilliant Japanese general takes charge of the manhunt to recapture the American commando.
