Ben Reilly seeks a fresh start and a path to redemption after the reputation of the Scarlet Spider is left in ruins. By reclaiming the iconic mantle of Spider-Man, he hopes to rebuild his life and honor the heroic legacy he once shared. His transition is quickly complicated by the arrival of the villainous Mysterio, whose deceptive illusions test Ben's resolve and combat skills.
