Occult investigators Shan and Hwen Mirage confront two necromantically charged corpses that violently reanimate and attack them, revealing their master to be the formidable necromantic sorcerer, Master Darque. Hwen embarks on a perilous journey to track down Darque, eventually pursuing him to the remote region of Ladakh, Tibet. This quest forces Hwen to delve deeper into the mysteries of life and death, confronting spectral adversaries and hidden truths about his unique abilities, all while battling a powerful new threat jeopardizing both the living and the deceased. The Mirages must navigate a dangerous path to prevent Darque from unleashing his sinister plans.
