The green-finned officer Savage Dragon finds himself in a brutal brawl against Johnny Redbeard's Nixed Men, a group of super-powered outcasts seeking vengeance against their creator. The chaos catches the eye of the Megatropolis Quartet in a parallel dimension, who mistakenly identify Dragon as an alien invader and dispatch the bumbling Megaton Man to intervene. What follows is a classic case of mistaken identity as the two titans trade blows before realizing they have been duped into a senseless conflict. Ultimately, the heroes must put aside their differences to take down the massive Slagg Heap and restore order to the Image Universe.
