Following a brutal jailbreak at Stronghold Penitentiary, the courageous Dart and the mysterious Star find themselves overwhelmed until the legendary Mighty Man intervenes to pluck them from danger. Upon returning from New York, the Dragon visits the hospital to check on his injured allies, only to be interrupted by a startling confrontation with the supernatural entity known as the Fiend. As the chaos subsides, a deeper mystery unfolds when Dragon discovers Lt. Frank Darling is being blackmailed by the Vicious Circle, all while a new avatar of Mighty Man begins to explore her awe-inspiring strength.
