With Batman out of town, Tim Drake must step up as Robin to thwart the Joker’s high-tech ransom scheme targeting Gotham City. Using a remote-controlled decoy to lure the Clown Prince of Crime onto a suspended bridge, Robin successfully avoids a deadly trap and engages the villain in a tense showdown. After a snowmobile pursuit to a sewage treatment plant, the young hero outmaneuvers his predecessor’s killer, ultimately knocking him into a vat of filth. While the police apprehend the humiliated villain, Tim returns to the Batcave, having proven his capability to defend the city on his own merit.
