Following a chaotic crash landing on Earth, the displaced survivors of the Squadron Supreme are escorted by Quasar to the secure confines of Project: Pegasus. This unexpected arrival serves as a dangerous catalyst, awakening the sinister Overmind who wastes no time in asserting his psychic dominance over the team. As the mental puppet master flees into the stars with his new thralls, the remaining heroes are left reeling and desperate for a solution. Quasar must now find a way to break this telepathic tyranny before the Squadron is lost forever to the void.
