The Punisher finds himself in a high-stakes race against Nick Fury and the Kingpin as all three power players hunt the horribly mutated Deke Wainscroft. While Deke is a grotesque and dangerous byproduct of a failed terrorist bombing, Frank Castle begins to suspect that the creature might actually be innocent of the latest string of brutal slayings. As the investigation plunges into the dark underbelly of the city, the true mastermind remains hidden, forcing the vigilante to navigate a treacherous web of deception and horror. Castle must uncover the real killer before the wrong man—or monster—is executed in the crossfire of these competing agendas.
