In the midst of the "Suicide Run" storyline, Frank Castle finds himself unexpectedly freed from jail by the Sheriff of Laastekist, just as the small town descends into chaotic invasion. With numerous copycats of the Punisher beginning to meet violent ends, the real vigilante must unleash his fury against the attackers occupying the area. Forced to fight a battle against both external invaders and the confusion caused by his imposters, Frank must risk everything to reclaim his mission and restore order.
