Four space explorers awaken within the Gyre, a mysterious cosmic prison, with their memories stripped away and strange new celestial powers manifesting. Guided by the telepathic whispers of an enigmatic figure named Scion, Beacon, Artisan, Hazard, and Tank must navigate a series of treacherous alien obstacles to secure their freedom. As they battle through non-human guards to reach their supposed savior, they realize that their newfound god-like abilities are linked to a much larger mystery regarding their abduction and the legendary entities known as the Psi-Lords. Consumed by confusion and sudden violence, the quartet forms a fragile bond while facing the startling truth that their incarceration is taking place far from Earth in the shadow of a dying star.
