Under the watchful eyes of Leonard Noble and Agent Mary McCormick, the superhuman Prophet is plunged into a brutal virtual reality simulation designed to push his mind to its breaking point. While initially navigating historical war zones with ease, the hero soon spirals into a feral bloodlust that causes the monitoring systems to lose control over his psyche. After witnessing a haunting manifestation of his own father and nearly dying from the mental strain, Prophet awakens with a renewed fury, tearing through his captors' facility in a desperate bid for freedom. Kirby must now convince the project's leaders to let him track down the escaped warrior before more blood is spilled.
