Apocalypse and Probe lead a daring raid to secure a vital cylinder containing an antidote for a government-manufactured plague, only to be forced into a narrow escape when security forces and an android close in. As their benefactor, Tatsuki, loses faith in the team's ability to complete the mission, he sets his sights on Gin Seng, a skilled former student of the mysterious Sensei. After a violent kidnapping leaves Gin Seng's girlfriend, Shoko, held hostage and tied to a lethal machine, the martial arts master is coerced into joining the Phantom Force to serve Tatsuki’s hidden agenda. This high-stakes introduction weaves together betrayal and sacrifice as the new recruits realize they are merely pawns in a much larger, more dangerous game.
