A wedding celebration quickly turns into a nightmare as Ryand'r, Jericho, and Nightwing arrive on Tamarus just in time for Starfire's nuptials to Prince Karras. The joyous occasion is shattered by Komand'r's brutal attack, leading to the capture of Nightwing, Jericho, and Karras, and the forced relocation of the royal family to Okaara. A helpless Dick Grayson can only watch in horror as Komand'r seemingly succeeds in eliminating the royal line, with a starship exploding before his eyes.
