The young mutants find themselves divided and in dire straits as their journey through Asgardian realms takes a dark turn. While one group is ensnared after stumbling upon the All-Father Odin in his vulnerable Odinsleep, their teammates venture into the depths of Hel to confront the death goddess Hela. Despite their valiant efforts to thwart her sinister plans, both squads ultimately fall victim to the overwhelming forces aligned against them. Trapped and isolated, the heroes must find a way to escape their captors before the shadows of the Norse underworld consume them entirely.
