An ancient evil, spearheaded by Lord Cardinale and the sorcerer Royale, is sweeping across the world, destroying and corrupting everything in its path, particularly targeting the land of Faerie. Out of the shadows emerges a dark force, the Medieval Spawn, to either save or destroy a besieged village, setting the stage for a dramatic conflict. This epic crossover introduces Katarina Godliffe, the newest wielder of the mystical Witchblade, whose destiny is tied to the mysterious warrior and holds a secret romantic link critical to their present-day counterparts. Together, the armored Spawn and the Witchblade must stand against the forces of Darkness to protect all realms.
