Chasing a mysterious Isz from the alleyways of the city into the primordial wilderness of the Outback, the Maxx struggles to retain his real-world memories in this savage otherworld. As he hunts for the elusive Mr. Gone, the purple-clad hero falls into a trap that lands him directly in his nemesis's bizarre subconscious bathroom. After surviving an onslaught from a voracious horde of Isz, the bewildered hero returns to the city to offer comfort to Julie, who is left dealing with the lingering emotional trauma of her encounter with Gone.
