The Thing finds himself in hot water, but his friend Matt Murdock senses a shadowy mastermind behind his troubles. As Daredevil, Murdock shares key information with Ben Grimm, prompting the rock-skinned hero to break out of prison. Unfortunately, their desperate plan only leads the heroic duo straight into a new and dangerous trap, orchestrated by the manipulating villain known as the Mad Thinker.
