Musician Chase Lawler, desperate to shield his loved ones from corruption, unleashes a savage primal archetype known as the Wild Huntsman using occult secrets awakened by the events of ZERO HOUR. This legendary creature ruthlessly seeks out and destroys lost souls, and the only way to banish it is for someone else to assume the eternal hunt. Forced into a dark pact, Chase must transform into the new Manhunter, preying on the Huntsman's intended victims, capturing them if possible, or killing them if necessary, to keep the menace at bay. This transformation plunges him into a terrifying new reality, where he must commit acts of terror to safeguard those he cares about.
