Magneto, utilizing the technology once used by his mutant-hating brother, creates a new team of robotic heroes known as the Magnetic Men to safeguard Homo Superiors. Shortly after their resurrection, the newly formed Magnetic Men are thrust into action to save a mutant heroine from the dangerous Sinistron, who is revealed to be their 'cousin' created by Magneto's brother. Despite Magneto's control being momentarily compromised during the fight, the Magnetic Men break free to defeat Sinistron, proving their independence. Although two of the robots appeared to be destroyed in the struggle, they recover, but Sinistron manages to escape to fight another day.
