Life is anything but ordinary for Samaritan, a hero attempting to maintain a secret identity and a mundane day job while protecting Astro City. In the story "In Dreams," this champion struggles to balance his separate lives, finding very little rest as his heroic duties clash with his civilian responsibilities. A host of other super-powered individuals, including Quarrel and the formidable Living Nightmare, make appearances as the reality of being a superhero is explored.
